Facts About The Church One of our past organist, Llewelyn Jones, was the assistant organist at Bangor Cathedral from 1889 to 1902 The organ use to be powered from the river (Afon Ddu / Afon Llafairfechan) Three of the stain glass windows at the church are painted by the famous stain glass painter Kempe.
The building of the church was financed by Mr. J. Platt. The church was opened in 1864. In 1892 the Lady Chapel, organ chamber and vestry were built. Later in 1902 the organ was built by William Hill and Son of London, the organ has over 2,000 pipes. In 2004 a PA system was installed, also new lighting was fitted and the Church was redecorated.
